Established in 1940 as Asahi Paint Company we began as a manufacturer, producing an extensive line of paints and coatings. After a visit overseas, our founder realized the future potential for consumer house paints. Special attention was paid to stimulate demand for the products being promoted to the consumer.
The growing demand for consumer house paints led to a marketing and production change in 1962. We would narrow our focus to specialize in the consumer house paints market.
In 1965 the company name was changed to Asahipen Corporation as business continued to expand. Our determination to earn the consumers trust continued and our reputation became well known for excellence in consumer house paints.
In 1978 with the Asahipen brand well established as No.1 in market share for consumer house paints, our stock became listed on the OSAKA stock exchange. |

Our primary business activities include the manufacture and sales of a variety of paints and coatings, painting tools, wallpaper products and other home decoration items, home cleaning products for maintenance and repair, and lawn and garden products.
As the leader in the consumer paint market, Asahipen Corporation is making every effort to offer safe and environment-friendly products. We always consider the consumers position and seek the customer’s satisfaction. Asahipen uses a guiding principle to protect our customer and their homes while adding color to the consumer’s lifestyle. |
